Flexible Steel INTRO:
Flexibility and Strength

Shoulders and Chest
Overhead Positions

The overhead position (straight arms above the head) is a pose that many people struggle with today, especially if most of our time is spent in a hunched and closed position. Compounding such mobility deficiencies with strength training only worsens the situation. Firstly, it puts a brake on your strength potential, and secondly, it increases the risk of injury due to incorrect overhead press technique, for example. How can you build better ranges for a safer overhead position? You will learn about this in the training.

Hips and Ankles
Pistol Squat

The Pistol Squat (one-legged squat) is a demanding form of squat that requires flexibility, mobility, strength, and good balance. It’s easier to perform it with a light weight that provides counterbalance than with bodyweight alone. The latter variant poses a greater challenge, especially for ankle joint mobility among other things. At the training, you will learn which exercises to use to improve mobility and flexibility to enhance your Pistol Squat technique or even consider it as a training goal.
